High-definition sources look spectacular on the LN52A550, and standard-definition sources look great too, thanks to Samsung's powerful image processing that enhances contrast, detail, and white balance while reducing noise. Wide Color Enhancer optimizes hues, so colors look rich and vibrant, yet very natural. Samsung also improved their TVs' contrast and black level performance. Dark scenes often look washed-out on LCDs when you turn down the room lights, but not on this model.
